Refund policy
At The Doria Studio, every saree is carefully crafted and quality-checked before dispatch. As many of our products involve handcrafted techniques, we follow a transparent and fair return policy.
Returns & Exchanges
We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product received is damaged, defective or incorrect.
* An opening 360 degree video of parcel is mandatory to claim Exchange. *
Requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
To initiate a return request, please email or DM us with:
- Order ID
- Clear photos and videos of the issue.
- A brief description of the problem
*Requests raised after 48 hours will not be accepted.*
Eligible Cases for Return
Returns or replacements are accepted only in the following cases:
1. Manufacturing defects
2. Wrong product delivered
Once approved, we will arrange a replacement depending on product availability or refund in case of product unavailability.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
1. Sarees with minor irregularities inherent to weaving of kota doria fabric (these are not defects)
2. Color variation due to lighting, screen resolution, or photography
3. Products that have been worn, washed, altered, or used.
4. Sale or discounted items (unless damaged)
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after the returned product passes quality inspection.
Refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment.
Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, unless the error is from our side.
Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
If the replacement item is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
Cancellation Policy
Orders can be cancelled within 4 hours of placing the order.
Once the order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
Important Notes
Kota Doria sarees may have slight irregularities in weave, texture, or color—these add to their authenticity and are not considered defects.
We reserve the right to decline returns if the product does not meet our return conditions.
